Plate Mates is a private dinner series hosted by me (Keir Whitaker), bringing together 10‐12 interesting people from the worlds of small business, creativity, and entrepreneurship. There's no agenda, no pitches, no sponsors — just great conversation over tasty food.

Why Plate Mates?

Networking these days can feel like a never‐ending LinkedIn scroll — polished profiles, humblebrags, and "let's connect" messages that never lead anywhere. Plate Mates is the antidote. A space for real conversations — no sales pitches, no self-promotion, just good food, smart company, and great conversations with new people.

How it Works

• I invite a small group of initial guests
• Guests are typically founders, soloists, and leaders in tech, marketing, and creative industries
• Everyone pays for their own food and drinks at cost (usually £60‐£80 per head) in advance
• Each guest buys their own ticket and optionally for a guest they think would be a great addition to the table
• Additionally, guests can recommend someone they think would be a great fit and I'll reach out and extend an invite
• The dinner takes place in a private dining room at a carefully chosen local restaurant
• Your host (that's me) will get the evening started with a round or two of drinks
• There are no pitches, sponsors, or formal agenda — just relaxed conversations
• After dinner, guests are free to continue the evening or call it a night — it's entirely up to you

Locations
