Introducing Work With Shop

Thursday 01 December 2022

One of the mantras at Shopify was “Do Things, Tell People”. So in that spirit, I’d like to share something I’ve been working on in my spare time for the last few months called Work With Shop.

Work With Shop: A New Niche Job Board for the Shopify Ecosystem

Over the last ten-plus years of working in the Shopify ecosystem, I’ve lost track of the number of times someone has asked me, “Hey Keir, do you know any great …’s who are looking for a new challenge?” Occasionally, I’ve been able to help, but more often than not, I’ve shrugged and said, “sorry, I don’t.”

Work With Shop aims to help answer this question. Simply put, it’s a niche job board built especially for the Shopify ecosystem and is designed to cater to the following types of businesses:

  • Shopify-focused agency (design, build, support)
  • Shopify-focused app development company (App Store and custom development)
  • Shopify-focused consultants (strategists, solutions architects, marketers, content specialists)
  • Technology companies and platforms that integrate with Shopify

If your job listing is Shopify related, it’s a great fit. But if not, we’re probably not the right job board for you!

Whilst there are many other job boards you can post to, I wanted to create a very niche, highly curated, and cost-effective solution for the many companies and individuals I know working with Shopify. We’re starting small but have big ambitions.

So, to celebrate (finally) shipping, I’m offering 50% off all Pay As You Go job listings using coupon code WWSLAUNCH50 for December 2022.

There’s more! You’ll also find regular articles on the site, including a series of interviews with “Humans of the Shopify Ecosystem”. First up is Kieran Masterton — a UK-based Shopify app developer, technical consultant, retro-tech aficionado and Shopify alum.

You can read more about the back story and sign up to the newsletter on the site, which is live as we speak.
