The Manhattan Project

The Manhattan Project is a four minute film by Cameron Michael. Here’s how he describes it:

This time-lapse production has been a wild and exhilarating ride, with a lot of physical work lugging my 120-130 pounds of gear around all of Manhattan. I bent (broke) some laws and made a ton of friends. Thank you all for your support and please feel free to help out a starving artist and share this video with the world.

New York was the first place I ever visited in the USA, way back in 1997. I distinctly remember taking the bus from JFK to Manhattan and emerging from one of the tunnels to see the Chrysler Building in all it’s glory. To this day it remains my favourite building.

This film really captures the modern New York, all hustle and bustle, yellow cabs, masses of people hurrying around whilst at the same time showing a calmer side with people relaxing on the High Line (a must visit if you are ever there). It’s a great city and one that I always enjoy visiting, this film makes me want to get back sooner rather than later.

Keir, that was mesmerising – a brilliant film about an amazing city. That has made me want to go back too!
